Hot Stamping Three Zone Stack Furnace

Infrared Heating Technologies (IHT) designs and builds custom batch electric hot stamping furnaces and press hardening furnaces for press hardening steel parts. We offer these electric batch systems in single stack and multiple stack (up to three furnace layer/stack) configurations. IHT offers a variety of batch furnace designs for the customer specific process requirements.

These electric industrial hot stamping furnaces feature strip heating elements placed in the hearth floor between the ceramic blank support tiers. These strip elements can be removed and the replacement elements put in place from the outside of the furnace without the requirement to open the furnace hearth, making element replacements much faster and simpler than in traditional batch furnace element designs. Each furnace layer or stack has independent temperature control and includes separate electric and pneumatic lockouts allowing each furnace layer or stack to be run independently. Our hot stamping furnaces also include a full brick hearth with ceramic stand-off blank supports, ceramic wool module wall and roof insulation, pneumatically controlled doors, and an integrated ambient air cooling system for reducing the temperature between furnace stacks.
